Today we are joined by Dmitry Schourov, Biopharma Operations Lead of France at Pfizer…
Can you provide us with an insight into a ‘day in the life’ of your role?
I lead a team supporting operational sides of our business. So, my day is a series of calls with multiple stakeholders, team members, teams working on different projects in France and across the Globe.
How has Covid affected your customer strategies?
For more than one year, we do not have an opportunity to visit our customers face to face. Moreover, due to COVID, the workload for Health Care Professionals (HCPs) increased dramatically, so it became a real challenge to engage with customers.
What do you think the future will look like for customer engagement?
Pharma is behind many industries in digital transformation. However, I have no doubt that future customer engagement will be predominantly virtual, and driven by customer demand. Push strategies will have just limited opportunities, mainly in the times of new launches. Companies will expand use of patient apps, “beyond the pill” strategies, and will be looking for more and more partnership relationships with HCPs.
We’re very excited about hearing your case study! Any chance we can get a sneak peek about what you will be specifically focusing on?
We will look at customer needs evolution, and consider Digital Transformation as a change management journey. We will focus on new skills that Sales and Marketing teams should learn, and look at “must do’s” of this transformation.
What are you most looking forward to about the event?
It is always great to engage with professionals from different industries and look at overall trends. I am excited to learn more about our future approaches to customer engagement!
