Artificial intelligence, big data, automation and robotics, once regarded as ‘futuristic’ are now a reality and responsible for driving a new pace of change not previously experienced by organisations. This fourth revolution places, and will continue to place, an intense focus on an organisation’s ability to quickly evaluate what this new dawn means and prepare accordingly.
INTOO has commissioned this independent survey to assess the preparedness amongst UK organisations for the future world of work. Its aim is to analyse the likely impact of this new technology on businesses and their people; to help identify the measures that should be taken to embrace the opportunities presented and overcome the challenges faced.
The survey was carried out by OnePoll between 9th August and 17th August 2017. 1000 individuals were questioned across a broad spectrum of industry sectors and age groups (18-65). The sample was broken down into 250 senior personnel (referred to in the report as ‘Managers’) and 750 junior members of staff
(referred to in the report as ‘Non-Managers’).
