Avon Cosmetics Ltd and its army of Independent Representatives have trumped some of the biggest names online and on the high street by beating Boots and Amazon in Verdict’s 2015 Customer Satisfaction Awards.
Avon’s award as Best Health & Beauty Retailer shows that direct selling is at the cutting edge of customer service and proves social selling is still very much alive and about to knock on your door with a smile, with Independent Avon Representatives pioneering the way.
Independent Sales Leader, Louise Carter, says: ‘I am passionate about what I do and enjoy telling all my customers about Avon offerings old and new. Being a Sales Leader means far more than just selling products, it’s about getting to know the customer and going the extra mile for them, building friendships with a network of empowered women and having the opportunity to talk all things beauty on a daily basis.
‘This award clearly shows that face to face relationships remain vital even in today’s fast paced world of technology and speed purchasing. My customers still appreciate quality and want to know what they are buying from a trusted source. The awards, which were announced at the Banking Hall in London on 18 June, were based on two surveys of 22,000 shoppers and put Avon in the top spot for their customer service achieved from their army of friendly, helpful and reliable Representatives.
Avon kept the other two cosmetics retail giants from securing the top spot, with Boots ranking second and Amazon third. It is not the first time Avon has won the awards, however – they were crowned Best Health & Beauty Retailer in 2013 too.
